Energy for Vattenfall Concepts, Campaigns, Editing Services.

The Task

In 2005, the Swedish state-owned Vattenfall decided to integrate its German subsidiaries in the international umbrella brand. Within 10 months, Berliner Bewag, Hamburg Elektrikitäts Werke (HEW) and the German headquarters of Vattenfall Europe were also merged online. By cosmoblonde.

With the merging of contents of all three companies on a common corporate site, we began accompanying and supporting Vattenfall in Germany and internationally in its online communications.

In addition to the central www.vattenfall.de enterprise platform, we subsequently developed and implemented many different target group and topic-specific sites, tools, animations and mini games, as well as accompanied migrations of Internet and intranet sites.

The technical content support and the support of complex editorial tasks in Open Text CMS are consistently ongoing.

In long-term relationships it's not so easy, to remember past details. Here is a personal selection of Vattenfall moments that have given us real joy.

Energy Controlling Online

The online controlling of energy consumption of corporate customers is one of the many supporting services from Vattenfall. In 2012 we had the opportunity to implement this service in the form of a design and functionality study.


The Energy-efficient house

The first version of the "Energiespartipps@Vattenfall" (energy saving tips@Vattenfall) originated in 2009. We used the "Bullet Time Effect" from The Matrix  to cinematically present rapidly changing living situations. The current version 3 of the energy saving tips site is more factual.


Current Weather Postcards

The idea of the current weather app is great. But not quite so easy to understand. To make to the charm and benefits available more accessible to a wider audience , the launch of the app was accompanied by a set of postcards. And that is how the "Current Weather" was born - and sold like hot cakes.
